Warm weather is arriving. It is time to make that great tasting cranberry dessert.
Check back for a new recipe as the season changes.
Put on your apron, get out your bowls and make a delicious homemade treat for family and friends.
| Apple Cranberry Crunch |
7-9 tart apples
4 oz. dried cranberries
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup flour

1/2 cup butter
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup pecans

Can be prepared in a pie shell or casserole: Slice apples. Stir sugars into apples, add cranberries and pour into casserole or 9" pie shell. Melt butter, combine with remaining ingredients and pour over apple/cranberry mixture. Do not stir. Bake at 350 degrees for one hour. Can be served warm or cool with or without whipped cream.
